Job Description

Overview At Radiant Smiles ,we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and aseptic techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver exceptional service and support in a friendly and professional environment. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Conduct medical documentation accurately, ensuring all patient records are up to date and compliant with regulations. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures, enhancing efficiency and patient comfort. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care. Monitor vital signs as necessary and perform medical imaging procedures when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques to prevent infection. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices. Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong skills in patient assessment and care, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all backgrounds. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
