We are a modernized privately owned dental office that proudly serves the communities for over 30 years. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. This position requires a understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and familiarity with dental office operations. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Administer local anesthesia as needed and assist in the management of patient care. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques. Document patient treatments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate effectively with dentists and other dental office staff to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a dental office setting. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
