We serve schools, communities and individuals in the area and are looking to fill an open position for a part-time Dental Hygienist who can work across our various locations. The ideal candidate will have a flexible work schedule, the ability to operate with minimal supervision and be able to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and at all levels. Spanish proficiency a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team-oriented setting and enjoy being a part of something larger than themselves. Look no further! Responsibilities:
Lead a team of dental assistants at our school-based dental sealant programs providing direct patient care using portable dental equipment. Duties include screenings, dental procedures, cleaning, sealant placement, and fluoride varnish application. Assist in organizing students and other patients and preparing them for treatment. Take notes during exams and perform other duties as may be assigned. Communicate with patients to put them at ease. Maintain good relations with patients, school and community administrators and other staff.
