Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of infection control and sterilization are maintained across all dental instruments and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient environment where patients receive top-quality care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient safety while working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will play a key role in supporting the clinical team by managing sterilization processes, inventory, and maintaining strict adherence to health regulations. Duties Prepare, clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment using approved sterilization techniques and devices. Manage inventory levels of sterilized supplies, ensuring all materials are available for daily procedures. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and supply usage in compliance with regulatory standards. Assist with the proper handling and storage of sterile instruments to prevent contamination. Follow strict aseptic techniques during instrument processing to uphold infection control protocols. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all instruments are ready for scheduled procedures and emergencies. Conduct routine quality checks on sterilization equipment and report any malfunctions or deviations from standard procedures promptly. Experience Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards is essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow detailed protocols are critical for success in this role.
