Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant / Lab Sterilization Technician, where your energy and attention to detail will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure strict infection control protocols, and manage sterilization processes for dental instruments and lab equipment. Your proactive approach will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in general dentistry while working with cutting-edge technology such as digital imaging systems. Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all supplies are sterilized and organized according to aseptic techniques Operate and maintain dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while adhering to safety standards Manage sterilization of dental tools and lab materials using proper infection control protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support the dental team by updating patient records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding Assist with patient intake procedures to ensure comfort and safety before treatments Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that promotes infection control and adheres to OSHA standards Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry or pediatric dentistry practices Familiarity with dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge Experience operating digital imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners is advantageous Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures within a healthcare environment Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Strong communication skills as a dental receptionist or in customer service roles are a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier dental care through innovation and compassion.
