Duties Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment Prepare instrument trays and ensure all tools are correctly assembled for upcoming procedures Manage inventory levels of sterilization supplies, reorder as necessary, and document usage accurately Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during instrument processing Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory logs Assist dental staff by retrieving sterilized instruments promptly during procedures Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards at all times Requirements Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control practices in a healthcare setting Familiarity with inventory management systems and supply tracking Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and equipment Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain sterile environments effectively Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and work efficiently under pressure Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient dental practice.
