Louis, and west into Kansas. The majority of your day-to-day work will be in the KC metro itself, but your territory is genuinely broad and includes some rural western Kansas coverage north of I-70 where long drives between stops are simply part of the job. As part of our largest branch, KC technicians are also the first called when other branches across our network need extra hands for larger installation projects. That means you'll see a wider variety of work than a technician in a smaller market — and you'll build skills and relationships across the organization that others don't get the same exposure to. The work itself spans a broad and growing range of technology — from mechanical systems like air compressors and vacuum units to increasingly sophisticated equipment like 3D dental imaging systems. You won't be expected to know it all on day one — training on advanced equipment comes over time as you build your foundation. But if you're someone who genuinely enjoys learning how new technology works, this role has a real growth path in that direction. Goetze also serves our customers as a full-service IT managed services provider. While our dedicated IT technicians and remote helpdesk — based right here in Kansas City — handle the complex IT work, you'll occasionally be asked to serve as on-site hands and eyes for our remote team. You don't need to be an IT expert, but being comfortable around technology and willing to learn is a genuine plus. No dental experience required. If you can diagnose a hydraulic problem, troubleshoot an electrical system, or figure out why a compressor isn't performing — you already have the core skills we're looking for. A Realistic Picture of the Schedule We believe in being upfront. Here's what the schedule actually looks like for a KC technician: Most of your days are local metro work — you're home every night Rural western Kansas coverage is part of the territory north of I-70 — those days involve longer drives and should be expected Branch support travel is a real part of this role — KC is our largest team and the first called when other branches need help. On average, expect a couple of out-of-town trips per quarter Our business has a natural seasonal rhythm — dental practices tend to purchase and install equipment in the second half of the year, making the fourth quarter our busiest project season. Out-of-town work is more concentrated during that period When travel happens, all expenses are covered — hotel, meals, and fuel Overtime is rare — when long days happen, we work to balance your schedule so your week stays at 40 hours We think that's a fair trade for the right person — and we'd rather you know it upfront than be surprised later. What You'll Do Perform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of dental equipment professionally and courteously Diagnose equipment issues and determine the parts and tools needed to complete repairs Train dental office staff on proper equipment use and care Serve as on-site support for our Kansas City-based remote IT technicians when needed Maintain an organized, well-stocked service van Partner with your dispatcher to schedule and route your daily calls efficiently Complete work orders and job documentation accurately and on time Assist other branches with larger installation projects as needed Attend manufacturer and company training to build your dental equipment expertise over time Backgrounds We're Actively Looking For You don't need dental experience — we hire from a wide range of mechanical and technical backgrounds.

Biomedical or medical equipment repair Animal health or veterinary equipment service — Kansas City is a major animal health corridor and these skills translate well HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades Automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing equipment maintenance Food and beverage processing equipment maintenance Field IT support, AV installation, or electronics repair General field service or equipment repair of any kind Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 100 lbs High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of mechanical, trade, or technical experience Comfortable around technology and willing to learn new systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ready to Join the Team?
