Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about patient care, love working in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference? We're looking for an energetic, patient-focused Orthodontic Clinician to join our growing team! Duties Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready for use Take digital X-rays, photographs, and intraoral scans Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision Change archwires, ties, and elastics according to treatment plans Provide oral hygiene and appliance care instructions to patients and parents Monitor patient progress and document treatment updates accurately Maintain detailed and compliant patient records Ensure patient comfort and deliver an exceptional patient experience Manage inventory and order clinical supplies as needed Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols Collaborate with doctors, treatment coordinators, and administrative team members to support office goals Support same-day treatment starts and help patients feel confident about beginning treatment Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting with a focus on orthodontics or general dentistry; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with Epic is advantageous Ability to operate medical imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners accurately and safely Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding to ensure compliance with privacy standards and accurate recordkeeping Ideal Candidate Traits Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and highly organized Team player with a patient-first mindset Passionate about creating confident smiles and exceptional experiences We're looking for someone who brings energy, accountability, and a genuine passion for patient care. Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
