Based on experience About the Role MedPro Repair is seeking an experienced Dental Handpiece Repair Technician to join our service team in Cary, North Carolina. The technician will diagnose, repair, rebuild and test a variety of dental handpieces and related equipment. Previous professional dental handpiece repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair high-speed, low-speed, air-driven and electric dental handpieces Disassemble, inspect, rebuild and reassemble handpieces Replace bearings, turbines, chucks, cartridges, O-rings and other components Repair motors, contra-angles and related attachments Test completed repairs for proper operation, air flow, water flow, speed and performance Document repairs and parts used Complete final quality-control checks Maintain a clean and organized workspace Support efficient turnaround times while maintaining repair quality Qualifications Previous professional dental handpiece repair experience Knowledge of common handpiece components and failure points Experience using handpiece repair tools and testing equipment Strong mechanical ability and manual dexterity Close attention to detail Ability to work independently and accurately Basic computer skills Ability to work on-site in Cary, North Carolina About MedPro Repair MedPro Repair provides repair services to dental practices nationwide, specializing in dental handpieces, motors and intraoral X-ray sensors.
