Position Information This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. Under the general direction of the Chief Dental Officer, the Sterilization Technician maintains sterilization and disinfection procedures for all dental instruments and equipment and ensures that patients receive the highest quality of care at each appointment.
THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY.
Experience Requirements / Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the practice of dentistry. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Knowledge of current principles and practices of public health. Knowledge of audiovisual materials and equipment. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. Bilingual communication abilities in both English and Spanish. Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook. NC Driver License. Education Required High School Diploma or GED. Hours of Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8am-5pm Thursday, 8am-7pm Physical Requirements Individuals may need to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional bending, stooping, lifting including of patients, reaching forward and overhead. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day. Proper lifting techniques required. Frequent computer work required. Must be able to travel freely in the local area; between clinics, hospitals, health departments, etc.
