Tangelo Orthodontics is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Orthodontic Sterilization Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care within our practice. Key Responsibilities Sterilization & Infection Control Perform sterilization procedures on instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, including autoclaving, chemical disinfection, and other approved techniques Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including dates, methods used, and equipment involved Conduct routine inspections of sterilized items to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functionality Ensure operatories are fully stocked, clean, and ready for patient care Patient Experience & Team Support Escort patients to and from treatment areas Create a warm, welcoming, and friendly experience for every patient Support the clinical team in delivering a patient-centered experience Assist with maintaining clinic flow in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Prior dental or orthodontic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Schedule Monday - Friday Average 35-40 hours per week What We Offer A supportive, team-oriented environment Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunities for growth and development The chance to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives every day If you are dependable, organized, and passionate about contributing to an exceptional patient experience, we encourage you to apply today!
