Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Dental Technician to ensure the highest standards of infection control and sterilization within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sterile processing procedures, anatomy, and physiology, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment. As a Sterilization Dental Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical team by preparing, sterilizing, and managing dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Duties Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment. Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Assist with the organization and storage of sterile supplies in designated areas for easy access by clinical staff. Monitor sterilization cycles regularly, documenting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with dental professionals to understand specific instrument requirements for various procedures. Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment to identify maintenance needs or malfunctions promptly. Skills Strong knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control standards in healthcare settings. •We are open to training for this position. Proficiency in inventory management systems for tracking supplies and sterilized instruments efficiently. Ability to follow detailed medical terminology related to dental care and sterilization processes. Skilled in aseptic technique to ensure a contamination-free environment during instrument handling. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for record-keeping and inventory control. Effective communication skills for collaborating with dental team members and supporting clinical workflows.
