Grand Prairie /
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Pay:

We're looking for an In-Shop Dental Equipment Technician who enjoys fixing things, learning hands-on skills, and being part of a team that solves problems together. This role is mostly shop-based, but you'll occasionally get out in the field to help with installs and deliveries. No two days look exactly the same. What You'll Be Responsible For Diagnose and repair dental equipment brought into the shop (Chairs, delivery units, compressors, vacuums, sterilizers & small equipment) Perform bench repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance Clean, test, and prepare rental equipment for customer use Deliver and pick up rental units throughout the DFW area Assist senior technicians with installations and equipment upgrades Help position equipment and assist with basic plumbing/electrical connections Document repairs, parts used, and service notes in our system Maintain shop organization, tools, and inventory Follow safety and infection-control procedures Communicate professionally with coworkers and dental office staff What We're Looking For We care more about mechanical ability, attitude, and reliability than industry experience. You'll fit well here if you: Like working with your hands and figuring out how things work Are dependable and show up ready to learn Take pride in doing repairs correctly Stay organized and detail-oriented Work well independently and with a team Experience Needed High school diploma or GED Mechanical or electrical aptitude Ability to use tools and follow diagrams or manuals Valid driver's license (company vehicle use) Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 75 lbs. with assistance) Helpful but Not Required Technical training (electronics, HVAC, biomedical, mechanical) Experience repairing equipment (dental, medical, automotive, industrial, etc.) Reading wiring diagrams or schematics Work Environment Primarily shop-based work in Grand Prairie Local travel around the Dallas-Fort Worth area for deliveries and install support Occasional early or late days depending on installation schedules Why Employees Stay Here Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Learn a specialized technical trade Hands-on work, not stuck behind a desk Supportive team that helps you grow Stable company with long-term customers Opportunity to advance into a field technician role If you enjoy fixing things and want to build a long-term skillset instead of just working a job, we'd love to meet you.
