Dental Sterilization Technician Cascade Integrative Dentistry Seattle, WA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Clinic experience Patient care Dental office experience Full Job Description Job Overview The Sterilization Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment within the dental clinic. This position is responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use, adhering to strict infection control protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and relevant medical documentation practices. Duties Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area and dental clinic. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulations, including HIPAA guidelines. Assist in chairside procedures as needed, supporting the dental team during patient care. Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate medical records. Skills Knowledgeable in dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care through effective sterilization practices.
