Job Description

Dental Director Practice Highlights Average patient volume: 12-18 patients per day 19 fully equipped exam rooms serving pediatric and adult patients OR access available if desired Dedicated Dental Assistant Training Program Fully functioning on-site dental laboratory Integrated, mission-driven healthcare system serving Alaska Native and rural communities

No fixed expectation Stable, predictable schedule with long-term leadership and growth opportunity Comprehensive benefits package consistent with SEARHC leadership roles Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality general dentistry services to pediatric and adult patients Serve as a clinical leader and mentor to dental providers and staff Support best practices in patient care, safety, and compliance Collaborate with leadership to enhance dental program operations and outcomes Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active Alaska dental license or eligibility to obtain Board certification not required for general dentistry Experience or interest in clinical leadership preferred Comfortable providing comprehensive general dental care Commitment to patient-centered, community-based healthcare Southeast Alaska Stunning coastal scenery with mountains, forests, and ocean views Exceptional outdoor recreation : hiking, fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing Tight-knit, welcoming communities with a strong appreciation for healthcare providers Unique blend of culture, nature, and professional fulfillment Ideal for providers seeking adventure without sacrificing career stability
