Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices and healthcare regulations Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for accurate medical documentation, scheduling, and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Ensure strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and medical imaging to promote patient safety and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate effectively with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort during procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to foster long-term oral health habits Maintain detailed medical records including dental terminology, medical terminology, and treatment notes while adhering to all legal and ethical standards Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or healthcare setting with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control procedures, and dental fabrication processes Expertise in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), oral surgery (dental extractions), and anesthesiology for pain management during procedures Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and communicate effectively using dental terminology and medical records documentation Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and infection control Join our team today to make a difference through exceptional dental care!
