As an integral part of our welcoming dental clinic, you will deliver high-quality general dentistry services, including restorative procedures, extractions, and pediatric care, all while utilizing cutting-edge technology and fostering a positive patient experience. Schedule:
Part-time (2-3 days/week, Days are negotiable/flexible )
Experience:
3 years of experience is preferred, but NOT required. (Motivated newer graduates are welcome to apply!) Duties Provide comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Perform a variety of procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental software system (Open Dental) for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct oral surgery procedures and apply aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-operative care to promote long-term dental wellness. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and current best practices in general dentistry. Skills & Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school with a valid State Dental License (Required). 3 years of clinical experience preferred (Not Required). Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar. Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery techniques. Excellent understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a dental setting. Ability to interpret medical records and imaging accurately for effective patient assessment. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation procedures. Effective communication skills to explain complex dental terminology clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
