We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Front Office Team Member to join our practice! Prior experience in an administrative role at a dental office is required and familiarity with Open Dental PMS and Dolphin imaging software is a plus! Our mission is to treat every patient as we would our own family. We strive for exceptional patient care and service and are looking for someone who is patient and loves working with children and teenagers. This position is for 4-5 days a week: Mon, Tue (every other Tue), Wed, Thur, Fri (every other Fri). Our team working hours are 8:15am - 5pm with a lunch break (12-12:55pm) As the first person our patients and their families meet when they arrive at our office, you would be the public face of our practice and have the essential responsibility of making them feel welcome and appreciated, while at the same time addressing their questions or concerns.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments for patients in person or on the telephone and providing basic company information Organizing and maintaining patient information in our database Preparing letters, information packets, and other correspondences as needed Collecting and posting account payments Verifying insurance plans and coverage Presenting Treatment Plans Working well with team members, doctors, patients and their families Monitoring and managing inventory of office supplies Assisting in planning company events, meetings, luncheons, and employee team building activities Overseeing mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior dental administrative or clerical experience required Familiarity with OpenDental is a plus but we will provide training Highly organized multitasker who is able to assume multiple roles in a startup environment Detail-oriented Someone who highly values honesty and integrity Willingness to learn and grow with the company Most importantly, exceptional communication skills and a warm smile!
