Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools like digital X-rays and medical imaging equipment Develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and clinical best practices Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to schedule appointments, record treatment notes, and manage patient records efficiently Practice infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology Stay current with industry standards by participating in ongoing training related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery Requirements Valid dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist in the respective state or region Proven experience working in dental clinics or dental offices with a focus on general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical records management Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling and documentation purposes Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and other restorative treatments Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages using clear explanations tailored to their understanding of dental health concepts Commitment to maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to infection control protocols during all procedures Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment accuracy and treatment quality Join us in delivering outstanding dental care while advancing your professional journey!
