General Dentist Associate

The General Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dental conditions, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and education. Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging and other diagnostic tools to accurately diagnose oral health issues. Administer anesthesia and perform oral surgeries such as dental extractions and root canal therapy. Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Maintain accurate medical and dental documentation in compliance with medical records standards. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities. Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for patient management and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort. Ability to perform dental fabrication procedures when necessary. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient populations including pediatrics. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Effective communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients of all ages. This position requires a licensed General Dentist with prior experience in a dental clinic or office setting. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dental care in a fast-paced environment.
