Part-time, Full-time, Contract Location:
Hemet, CA Position Overview:
Tri-State Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to join our team in Hemet, CA. The Dentist will provide high-quality dental care to our patients while emphasizing education and prevention of oral diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive general dentistry services, including: Preventive care (oral health instruction, sealants, etc.) Diagnosis and treatment planning, including referrals and follow-ups Restorative dentistry Oral surgery Periodontics Endodontics Fixed and removable prosthodontics Make specialty orthodontic referrals as needed Adhere to clinic protocols and maintain accurate, legible treatment records Comply with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines Stay current with ICD diagnostic and billing codes Maintain productivity standards set by the CEO Attend mandatory meetings and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Valid license to practice dentistry in California Current DEA registration Current CPR certification At least one year of experience preferred Compliance with all CME requirements mandated by the State of California Strong understanding of Tri-State's clinic structure, standards, procedures, and protocols
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work in a comfortable office environment, interacting effectively with patients, co-workers, and vendors Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (with assistance) Adequate vision to read memos, charts, and clinic documents High manual dexterity and ability to reach above shoulder level Capable of bending, squatting, sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and turning May be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases
