We have approximately 6 to 8 referrals for endodontic services each week. We are looking for a capable endodontist to partner with our team as an independent contractor. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with general dentists and dental staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical excellence. Your expertise will help enhance our patients' oral health and comfort, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Responsibilities Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures with precision and care Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans Utilize dental imaging technology such as digital X-rays to diagnose and plan treatments accurately Maintain detailed, accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Collaborate with general dentists and dental staff to coordinate patient care seamlessly Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety Educate patients about their treatment options, post-procedure care, and oral health best practices Skills Proficiency in endodontic procedures including root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and infection control practices Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling and medical records management Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary and coordinate care for pediatric patients Skilled in general dentistry tasks such as dental extractions and oral surgery when required Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpreting diagnostic images for accurate treatment planning Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort, communication, and professionalism Join us in delivering top-tier dental care that transforms smiles!
