Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Endodontist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional root canal therapy and advanced endodontic treatments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will collaborate closely with general dentists and specialists to provide comprehensive care, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes for our diverse patient community. Responsibilities Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and care, utilizing advanced dental imaging and aseptic techniques. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans. Assist in diagnosing complex cases by interpreting dental terminology, medical records, and imaging results. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Collaborate with team members to ensure infection control standards are upheld through proper sterilization and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on their treatment options, post-operative care, and oral health maintenance to promote informed decision-making. Support the dental team by participating in four-handed dentistry practices, enhancing efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialization in Endodontics. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic procedures within a busy dental clinic setting. Proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to work effectively within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for optimal patient care. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and general dentistry principles is a plus. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring the highest standards of medical documentation and records management.
