Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Part-Time Dentist in Downtown LA, working two days a week to deliver exceptional patient care and uphold clinical excellence. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You'll play a vital part in providing comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Work schedule is 6-7m hours per day. 1-2 days a week Mon-Fri. $750 Base or 25%Production(which includes no adjustments for lab, financing etc. paid as 1099) Possible work hours are the following: 8am-2pm 9-3pm 10am-4pm 11am-5pm 12pm-6pm Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions with precision and care Conduct patient assessments to determine treatment needs and develop personalized care plans Assist with or perform specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery as needed Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options to patients Practice four-handed dentistry techniques alongside the dental team to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone Requirements Valid state dental license with current credentials to practice as a PT Associate Dentist Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures, dental terminology, and medical documentation standards Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication techniques is highly desirable Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and understanding of anatomy are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Commitment to patient care excellence, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance Previous experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills make a meaningful impact!
