This position is initially to provide temporary coverage during a maternity leave, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term or permanent associate role for the right candidate. We are looking for a doctor who values quality dentistry, strong patient relationships, and teamwork. Our office has an established patient base, supportive team, and steady schedule, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking either temporary coverage work or a potential long-term position. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate effectively with patients and team members Maintain detailed and accurate dental documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols Apply aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Collaborate with the team in four-handed dentistry practices to improve efficiency and patient comfort Manage dental records diligently, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist Must carry and maintain their own malpractice insurance Proven experience in general dentistry Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and infection prevention in the clinical setting Compensation Competitive daily guarantee and/or percentage of production Compensation structure based on experience and schedule Position details Temporary associate coverage for maternity leave Opportunity to become permanent Full-time or part-time considered Established patient flow Supportive and experienced clinical team Modern private practice setting Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier dental care while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
