In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. You will perform a wide range of dental procedures, from routine examinations to complex treatments, while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including dental history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging technology. Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Carry out dental extractions and oral surgery procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Diagnose dental conditions utilizing dental terminology and medical terminology for accurate treatment planning. Manage root canal therapy (endodontics), dental fabrication, and other restorative treatments efficiently. Ensure proper documentation of all patient interactions in medical records while complying with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Maintain infection control standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery. Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties. Requirements Valid state dental license in good standing; experience as a practicing dentist is preferred. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging interpretation, and infection control protocols. Experience working with pediatric patients and providing pediatric dentistry services is highly desirable. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards for maintaining confidentiality. Knowledge of dental terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.
