The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice and infection control protocols. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, ensuring accurate medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping. Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to infection control and medical imaging. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients. Experience Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is essential. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is required. Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and techniques is necessary for maintaining patient safety. Previous exposure to dental fabrication processes will be considered an asset.
