Job Description
JOB Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking candidates for a Per Diem Dentist to provide vacation and PTO coverage, as needed, at four dental clinic sites located throughout Riverside County in Jurupa Valley, Perris, Corona, and Palm Springs. The Dentist - Per Diem is an advanced journey-level classification that reports to a manager- or director-level position. In this role, the incumbent provides dental services on a part-time basis to patients of the RUHS Community Health Centers (CHCs). The CHCs are busy primary care clinics with on-site dental services. RUHS dentists typically see approximately 20 patients per day and are supported by a clinical team consisting of one Dental Assistant, one Registered Dental Assistant, and three operatories. Incumbents may also assist in supervising and providing instruction to residents, interns, and dental students in an assigned field. The ideal candidate is a skilled, experienced, and adaptable dentist who is passionate about providing high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients. Per diem employees are distinguished from regular employees in that they receive additional compensation in lieu of County fringe benefits. Work assignments are provided on an as-needed basis and may involve a flexible work schedule. Meet the Team!
