This part-time, onsite role in San Diego, CA is ideal for a dedicated clinician who can combine surgical expertise with compassionate, clear communication. In this position, you will conduct consultations, evaluate oral health conditions, and perform implant-related procedures while coordinating effectively with the broader dental care team to support safe, effective outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient consultations and diagnostic evaluations to determine candidacy for dental implants. Develop, document, and communicate treatment plans, including procedure approach and expected outcomes. Perform surgical procedures related to dental implant placement and associated operative tasks. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards. Coordinate with the dental care team to support coordinated pre-operative planning and post-operative patient care. Required Qualifications Current licensure and credentials to practice as a dental implant surgeon in California. Demonstrated experience performing dental implant consultations and surgical procedures. Strong clinical judgment in diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedure execution. Excellent patient communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with clinical staff. Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and compliance with applicable clinical protocols. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a range of implant case types and varying treatment complexities. Familiarity with modern dental implant techniques and contemporary clinical best practices. Experience supporting pre-operative planning and post-operative care instructions. Comfortable working in a team-based environment to coordinate care across the patient journey.
Pay:
$320,000.00 - $380,000.00 per year
