Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, patient care, and dental technology. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using medical and dental terminology. Provide a wide range of dental treatments including restorative procedures, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment. Conduct patient education on oral health, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry practices. Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures, including dental fabrication techniques. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines related to anatomy knowledge, medical imaging, and infection control measures. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical setting; experience with dental office or clinic environments is preferred. Experience performing dental extractions, endodontics, and other complex procedures preferred. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and familiarity with infection control protocols essential for delivering safe patient care.
