Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, including pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient assessment, and a thorough understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages. Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure optimal patient care and infection control practices. Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic techniques. Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills in areas such as endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental fabrication. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft, is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology. Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
