Duties Assist with general dentistry procedures, including dental examinations, cleanings, and patient assessments Perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and care Support pediatric dentistry cases, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients Utilize dental software such as, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and medical documentation Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare and operate medical imaging equipment for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Collaborate with dentists on four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans Apply knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to facilitate clear communication within the team Uphold high standards of patient care by conducting thorough patient assessments and delivering compassionate service Qualifications Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery techniques Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred Strong understanding of infection control protocols, medical imaging procedures, and aseptic techniques Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly using dental terminology and medical language Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient privacy Prior experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry clinics is desirable Join us in shaping the future of oral health care!
