In this role, you will provide expert root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population. Duties Perform comprehensive root canal treatments, retreatments, and endodontic surgeries with precision and attention to detail. Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, utilizing dental imaging and medical records to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and procedures clearly with patients and team members. Maintain strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques, to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and pediatric dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Manage medical documentation efficiently within electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Adhere to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental fabrication techniques, and infection control standards to enhance clinical skills. Experience Proven experience in dental office environments or dental clinics, particularly in performing endodontic procedures. Familiarity with dental imaging technology and anatomy knowledge relevant to root canal therapy and oral surgery. Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, including dental extractions, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry when applicable. Proficiency in using electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Prior experience working with pediatric patients or in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
