We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our thriving private dental practice. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and optimal oral health outcomes. Your expertise in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and other specialized procedures will help us uphold our commitment to high-quality, compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your clinical skills and patient-focused approach will make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain treatment plans and procedures to patients clearly and confidently. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Manage medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Use dental software for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping. Assist in patient education about oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and related specialties like endodontics and prosthodontics to enhance treatment quality. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if required. Proven experience working in dental clinics or private practices with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery techniques including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrication is desirable. Familiarity with infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, medical documentation, and medical imaging techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and the ability to apply this understanding during procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical records and documentation.
