Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform smiles while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, infection control, and patient care. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Practice four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver seamless patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. Document all treatments accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and related fields through ongoing education. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry. Demonstrated proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Background in pediatric dentistry or treating pediatric patients is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records is essential.
