Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental treatments including examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Use advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient care quality. Utilize medical imaging tools to diagnose dental issues accurately and plan appropriate interventions. Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions using precise dental terminology. Requirements Valid license to practice dentistry with current state licensure as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Hands-on experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures and work effectively within a pediatric or general practice setting.
