Job Description

Overview Join our Family as Front Office Administrative Assistant, where you'll be the welcoming face of our orthodontist clinic! In this pivotal role, you will manage patient interactions and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Your expertise in medical office operations will shine as you coordinate appointments, handle patient records, and provide exceptional service to our patients. What you'll do Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments efficiently Verify insurance information and process with accuracy Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation review Handle multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and inquiries with excellent phone etiquette Assist in medical billing and coding tasks Support the clinic's administrative functions by managing filing systems and clerical duties Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care plans Travel to Alamosa, La Junta and Canon City Basic qualifications Strong understanding of dental and medical terminology and experience Proficient typing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction Preferred qualifications Bilingual capabilities to assist diverse patient populations Previous experience in a Dental and medical office or clinic setting, particularly in dental or Orthodontic care Knowledge of health information management practices and insurance verification processes Why you'll love it here We're dedicated to creating an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
