Job Description

Part Time surgical assistant needed for my expanding, growing oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. Preferred candidates should be highly motivated and energetic, caring and compassionate. Personal and professional decorum a must. They should be able to multi-task; one year of assisting experience preferred; willing to be cross trained in all aspects of office

Work Remotely No Summary As an Oral Surgeon Assistant, you will be an integral part of the oral surgery team, providing support to the oral surgeon during procedures. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic technique will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of oral surgeries. With premium skills in EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, and X-Ray procedures, you will also contribute to maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring patient confidentiality. Your relevant skills in medical documentation and pediatric dentistry will further enhance your ability to assist in a variety of oral surgery procedures.   • Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures by providing chairside support.
  • Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to anticipate surgeon's needs.
  • Operate 3D scanner for accurate imaging during oral surgeries.
  • Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a sterile surgical environment.
  • Assist with post-operative care and patient education.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient comfort.
