Job Description
Description Pediatric Dentist We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our dedicated dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about providing high-quality dental care to children and creating a positive experience for young patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to oral health education and a gentle approach to treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
- Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealants
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws, providing guidance as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Collaborate with dental team members and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education
Skills and Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid license to practice dentistry in the respective state or region
- Certification in Pediatric Dentistry (e.g., Board Certification or equivalent) is preferred
- Proven experience working with children in a dental setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and able to create a welcoming environment for young patients
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
