Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Administer local anesthesia and perform dental extractions with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively to patients and team members. Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and medical records management. Collaborate with specialists in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics when necessary for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations related to medical records and patient privacy. Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current credentials to practice general dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on patient care. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Open Dental Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Experience performing dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
