Job Description

Dental Director (Administrative or Chairside Career Paths Available) The Smilist is seeking a patient-focused General Dentist to join our growing organization in either a chairside clinical role, an administrative role, or a blend of both depending on your interests and experience. Whether you're looking to focus on patient care, or mentor teams, we offer flexibility and career growth opportunities designed around your goals. Full-time or part-time roles available. A sign-on bonus with competitive compensation is available. A monthly salary will be provided for the administrative responsibilities, increasing overall earnings potential. Depending on the role structure and your interests, responsibilities may include: Clinical Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality comprehensive dental care
  • Diagnose and treatment plan with a patient-first philosophy
  • Educate patients on oral health and preventative care
  • Collaborate with hygienists, specialists, and support teams
  • Build long-term patient relationships and trust Administrative / Leadership Responsibilities
  • Support practice operations and clinical excellence initiatives
  • Mentor and coach doctors and team members
  • Assist with provider onboarding and development
  • Drive consistency in clinical standards and workflows
  • Participate in strategic growth and operational improvement efforts Preferred Education and Experience
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited university, active DE license in good standing, and active/in process DEA license
  • Ethical, patient-centric provider
  • Respected Leader with proven track record leading teams to successful outcomes
  • Innate ability to provide mentorship to Associate dentists
