The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general and specialized dentistry practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a professional and compassionate manner. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures to improve and maintain patients' oral health. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped clinic environment, utilizing advanced dental technology to provide top-tier services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to accurately diagnose oral health conditions. Perform various dental procedures such as dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Utilize dental imaging and medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office standards. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Ensure adherence to all applicable dental terminology standards and maintain proficiency with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics preferred. Proficiency in using dental office technology including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other practice management systems. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and dental fabrication processes. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and develop appropriate treatment plans. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding medical records and patient confidentiality. Prior experience working in dental clinics or healthcare environments emphasizing infection control and medical documentation standards.
