The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as the ability to work effectively with both pediatric and adult patients. The Dentist will utilize advanced dental technologies and maintain a high standard of patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities Perform routine dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases. Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Administer anesthesia and perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and crowns. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide high-quality care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education and training. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in the clinic. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in medical terminology, dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge. Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Knowledge of prosthodontics is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
