Responsibilities Deliver high-quality general dental services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions. Perform oral surgeries such as dental extractions and root canal therapies with precision and care. Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to ensure patient understanding. Utilize dental imaging technology and medical documentation to accurately record patient information while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties relevant to general dentistry. Skills Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management. Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and communicate effectively. Familiarity with infection control standards, medical imaging techniques, and dental fabrication processes. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic procedures confidently. Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office setting is preferred; a background in dental office experience is advantageous.
