Job Duties:
Assist dentist and keep records under the direction of dentist and management. Create and maintain a schedule for patients, doctors and support staff. Serve as liaisonbetween patients, support services and dentist. Process new patient referral calls. Schedule new patients. Build trust and understand the patients objectives. Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment. Conduct interview to understand the patients oral health history and concerns. Obtain medical records to support new patient visit. Explain the treatment plan, address patient concerns and answer any questions. Present treatment options to patients. Educate patients on the health risks of not receiving proper treatment. Calculate fees for treatment and secure financial commitment from the patient. Bill dental insurance, post payments, and process claims.Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Biology (BS) Pre-Dental, Bachelor of Science Chemistry (BS) Pre-Dental, Doctor of Dental Surgery, Internationally Educated Dentist or Equivalent. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience- 40 Hrs.
