Job Description
Under general supervision, will provide comprehensive dental services in a public health facility to include but not limited to diagnosis or restorative/preventative treatment of dental disease. Provide telehealth dentistry as needed for our 10 counties. You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures, and provide preventive and corrective services. Advise and instruct public health clients regarding preventive dental care, dental problems and oral health care services. Formulates a plan of treatment for patient's teeth and mouth tissue Provide dental care services to pediatric and adult patients Provide instruction and supervision to dental students in a university affiliated program. Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience at the lower-level Dentist 3 (HCP132) or positionequivalent and current Georgia license to practice dentistry.
