Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics treatments with precision and compassion Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using digital tools such as Dentrix or similar practice management software Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Collaborate with dental specialists such as oral surgeons or endodontists when advanced procedures are necessary Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options to patients and team members Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, oral surgery techniques, and healthcare diagnosis standards Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state dental license in good standing Proven experience in general dentistry practice within a dental clinic or office setting; familiarity with dental office software such as Dentrix preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical documentation standards Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, endodontics treatments, and dental fabrication processes Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently for optimal patient comfort and workflow productivity Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics; ability to assess patient needs effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as anesthesiology applications in dentistry and medical records management Join us as we prioritize patient-centered care by combining clinical excellence with compassionate service.
