Job Description

Regional Scanner Trainer, Professional Learning and Development Services Can you connect people to content, making a difference in their work? Let's talk about how you can make a difference and join our passionate team of dental educators in the Professional Learning and Development Services (PLDS) department. Supported doctors and team members come to Heartland Dental for phenomenal careers and our best-in-class education and training. As the Regional Scanner Trainers (RST) you will be responsible for the training and development of Doctors and teams as it relates to the business of scanner utilization for all patients. To give you an idea of team structure, you will work on the PLDS team with several Regional Scanner Trainers, reporting to the Manager of Regional Scanner Trainers.
Duties and responsibilities:
Introduce the Digital Dental Workflow by providing initial scanner training and continued support to doctors and teams utilizing the iTero Scanner. Track office scanner utilization for a determinate period after initial training. Collaborate with other members of the RST and PLDS for the creation or modification of training as needed. Deliver supplemental educational content utilizing various delivery methods. Stay up to date on the latest features of the scanner and work with suppliers to incorporate those features. Facilitate in Heartland Core classes, other programs, and actions to advance the knowledge and skill of utilizing the scanner. Collaborate with our external partners to ensure scanning is the standard of care in Heartland Dental offices. Other projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Clinical experience with a minimum of five (5) years of working in dentistry and two (2) years of mentoring other team members. Up to 40% Travel. Strong clinical skills and knowledge. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks. Influence doctors and teams to take action, strong communicator. Interface across Heartland departments to support the Scanning program/system.
Desirable Qualifications:
Dental Hygiene experience. Dental Assisting experience. Knowledge of dental restoration and clear aligner therapy.
