Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications :
Education Minimum of a bachelor's degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training and tested experience required for didactic courses. Minimum of an associate's degree in applied sciences/ dental hygiene required for lab and clinic courses. Experience Experience in teaching dental assistant or dental hygiene students. Minimum 3 years clinical dental hygiene experience. Licenses and Certifications Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program. Current dental hygiene license in the State of Illinois. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR intended for healthcare providers. Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required. These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
