Duties The incumbent is assigned as a staff dentist or dental specialist to the Dental Service and reports to the Dental Clinic Supervisor The incumbent will function as an equal member within the larger team of staff dentists and auxiliary staff VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package Duties include but are not limited to: Provide complete range of dental care and treatment to Veteran patients Follow-up clinic visits for existing dental problems Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures Collaborate and act as a patient advocate Maintain knowledge of new and current clinical methods Perform related administrative duties•as required Reading and interpreting dental radiographs and digital scans Prescribe medication
